Mr. Foxen
It is free listing weekend, so you can stick stuff up at crazy price for free, an see if people pm offers. I just had a guy make a lower offer via message. Then suggested I modify my listing to BIN for him, so I get too pay fees anyway. Told him where to go. KiOgon
Question & Answer Answered On 21-Aug-11 Q: Hi there, congrats on such a great amp,I have the V4( mk2) and V6 and would love one of these.Just wandered if you are open to sensible offers. Please dont be offended and obviously it states a starting bid of 3k,which is around twice what these generally go for, paid way less than half for both my Vs,thanks,Mike 21-Aug-11 A: No offence taken at all Mike and thank you very much for your interest. Prior to th e V8, I also had a V6 which I had all sorts of problems with. The bloody thing went in and out of the shop so many times I lost count (the Trace workshop in Maldon that is, not the actual High Street shop), but even they couldn't find out what was wrong with it. I'm sure the V6 model itself is sound; I guess I just had a rouge one. I'm happy to report that I've had no such problems with the V8 though. It's a totally different beast compared to the other V amps and I have never had any issues with it - apart from picking the bloody thing up! I'm happy with the price I've set. Owner's have let them go for cheaper than their original RRP (which was not far off £2K), but I've also seen them go for not a lot less than what I'm asking for. Never say never though, so if you have a price in mind just let me know. If anyone would like further pictures, I am also happy to oblige. Regards, Warren. Ask seller a question? Grendel
Yeah, that gave me a good chuckle. Real purdy Alembic though
