Rumblebass
Putting my GB Rumour 4 up for sale. Built for me by Bernie Goodfellow in 2003. Swamp ash body, quilted maple veneer with Red/Black Wicca finish, rosewood fretboard, ebony tuning pegs. Red LED's on neck side. Famous GB active circuitry. Strung with T.I. flatwounds. No dings anywhere, lovingly cherished. Comes with GB/Hiscox hard case. Collection preferred but willing to meet half way if delivered. I'm in Lincolnshire. I've retired from playing & the bass isn't being used any more. Someone should be playing this bass. Not looking for trades/swops. £1850 gets it. PM only if interested. Thanks R. gary mac
Wow, that's a pleasure to behold. Don't think I could bring myself to sell that one. Just wish I could afford it. Best of luck, can't imagine it will be on here for very long. All the best Gary

bass_ferret
I am well known for my dislike of furniture basses but I have to say a nice bit of quilt has been known to induce a semi. Thats a nice bit of quilt. Edited March 13, 2008 by bass_ferret
phsycoandy
Now that would look nice next to my Spitfire, Superb. Perhaps a bit too alike in sound to warrant the unfolding of the wallet. Bump. Edited March 13, 2008 by phsycoandy
Higgie
Blimey....You'll probably spend £1850 in 9v Batteries!! I take it the Pre is 18V, a 9V for the LEDs....And what's the last one for?
bass_ferret
LED's are 18V on GB's. If I was to order a Rumour this would be it - other than the colour of the LED's. Need some anti GAS treatment now

I change batts. once a year whether its needed or not., the active circuitry runs off two & is activated upon plugging instrument lead into guitar, and there is a pulsing red battery life indicator visible through the rear clear panel. These also are changed annually whether needed or not. Thats based on an average use of around 20 hours per month every month. £10 a year tops. . Higgie
Hmm, I probably should have used a smiley at some point to convey my sarcasm hehe! Was just shocked at the amount of 9v Battery holders Looks like a great bass, good luck with the sale!
