Sold: Immaculate 1999 Streamer Stage 1 - 5 string £950/€1200

Much as I love my SS1, I prefer the narrow string spacing of my thumb bass. I also find the sound of the SS1 to be so different from the thumb that I would find it hard to swap basses in the middle of a gig, without completely changing my sound.

This SS1 is immaculate -99 model. Set-up by Dave Wilson last year. Imported by me from the US in Oct 2006. Never gigged by me or the previous owner. It has an 18v Preamp and Seymour Duncan Basslines pickups which were standard on the US Warwick SS1.

If you've never heard the slap tone on an SS1 you will be blown away when you hear this. The bottom E has an unbelievable tone to it.

The bass comes with a Warwick hard case.

Looking for £1000

Edit: Will take £950 + postage + any banking charges/currency change charges.
Or around €1200 depending on exchange rate on the day

The Dolphin V will do the job, narrow string spacing it has, too narrow for me, hence mine being up for sale, not in for a trade on that though!
They are a well balanced bass, with a compact body, also worth adding, they can cut through anything any drummer or/and guitarist can throw at ya'

I'm in the nightmare scenario - found the next bass, not sold mine yet - Doh

This has to be one of the best condition SS1s out there - even the back of it is mint with no belt marks.

Well that might buck the trend and get prices moving in the right direction :)

Getting sick of being messed around with my buyer - still waiting for his cash and he's trying to knock me down on price even though I've given him 10 days to get his money together.

If someone beats him to get me the cash they can have it.

£940 + postage + any payment fees if you want to use paypal. Happy for you to collect and/or use bank transfer.

It's a pi**er when this happens! I hope you get this sorted soon :)

I'm keeping fingers crossed that my European sale of my Pumpkin bass goes smoothly. Hopefully as the guy is a Warwick endorsee and in a signed/Euro-name band then it should be straightforward.

I'm sure the guy will be straight on that one John.

I hate selling on ebay, it always seem to degenerate into more hassle than it's worth.

I'm happier now I've bought it's replacement actually. It's on a 0% card so I can sell the SS1 at my leisure.

Told my buyer he can buy it if if he wants but as far as I'm concerned it's back up for sale
