mentalextra Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Do Mighty Mite necks have a logo on the headstock? If not, how can they be identified? Cheers Quote

mentalextra Posted August 23, 2011 Author Posted August 23, 2011 Do you know if they have ever used a headstock logo? Quote

gjones Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 I have a bass made of mighty mite parts I bought in the early 80's (my first proper bass). It had a dodgy looking decal on it. It was a water transfer so I just rubbed it off. Quote
mentalextra Posted August 23, 2011 Author Posted August 23, 2011 Can you remember what it looked like? Quote

I've a feeling it was some kind of cartoony looking dude back then which looked pretty naff frankly which is why I got rid of it. Quote
Ian Savage Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Mine's got the little Mighty Mite cartoon dude and 'licensed by Fender' on the heel. Quote
Grand Wazoo Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 As everyone said only the heel is stamped with the Mighty Mite LIC BY FENDER logo and the headstock is blank Quote
mentalextra Posted August 24, 2011 Author Posted August 24, 2011 I think mine is quite an early one that has had the decal removed. I have emailed the company. Thanks Quote
NancyJohnson Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 I'm 100% that you could get whole Mighty Mite bass/g**t*r kits about twenty/twenty-five years ago and they definitely has a MM waterslide logo on the headstock. Remember back then Carvin, Schecter and Mighty Mite were all in the same game; it was all licensed parts/kits. P Quote
