made in england?

just heard that marshalls mb range is made in india and it got me thinking that apart from the top of the range ashdowns is there any other equipment actually made in this country.years ago we were spoilt for choice h/h,wem,carlsbro etc.

Some Peavey gear is assembled in England but manufactured in India and some are made in England. I have 2 Peavey messenger PA speakers and the sticker says made in England.

think even this is made in PRC now Arbiter have resurrected the brand. Some Laney stuff is still made in Cradley Heath I think.

I think Laney still make their valve gear in the UK.

=pay a premium for UK manufacture.

maybe the veblen goods exclusivity will make them more desirable.

well not many then!!at least we still have the trace gear.(older the better)and the exspensive ashdown range!

They dont make much bass stuff, but I got these two cabs Custom made to my spec for me by them earlier this year. And they're fab.
