scottpollard Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 Thanks Guys, The Mrs sister wanted to learn how to play so got some gear and after it fizzled out I thought I'd seize the opportunity. Playing drums has help me determine rhythm which hopefully I will adopt in playing my bass. The callouses are thickening and been practicing scales and finger technique first. I don't wanna just go learning bass riffs at the start of songs and be armed with 'look what I can play the start of'. Loving blues rhythms and scales and getting in to funk groves like Chic, Bootsy and various Disco grooves. Quote
