Could be nice with some work, barely worth the start price though i think. I think he's put a high buy now, to try and entice buyers into thinking the start price is a bargain. If it plays nice though, could be a good player for someone at £800, worth a gamble though?, not sure, we'll see i guess? Quote
gareth Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 "I am only selling it because it sounds great" Sounds like a reason for keeping it Quote

Lozz196 Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Well I love it - if I had a spare £800, well I probably wouldn`t have it anymore! That to me is exactly how I like a Precision - battered beyond belief. I`d do it to mine, but I like genuine wear, not fake, and think that this one has just been badly treated over many years. I`d def give it a home. Quote

gareth Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 also the knobs are replacements and i do not think they used the rubber/plastic gasket beneath the neckplate bank then Quote
Dr.Dave Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 The ingredients for a fine players bass with a bit of vintage mojo at around the start price. Course , I haven't played it - could be a dog for all anyone knows that hasn't done so. Quote
