daz Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Does anyone know of a reliable luthier that I can take a bass to and have him diagnose and attend to it. Someone with a personal recomendation please. Quote
pickle Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 (edited) In birkenhead (by the ferry terminal) is KGB LUTHIERS they are really good and have done some amazing work for some big bands and musicians. They also re-wired one of my bass's really well. Edited August 29, 2011 by pickle Quote

risingson Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Depends what you want done. I'd agree with Pickle that KGB are good, if a tad expensive sometimes. If you need a bass looking over though, might I suggest you get in touch via PM with Steve Soar, he'll take a look at your bass and do a bloody good job on it as well, he works from his home. I can personally recommend him. Quote

Bass Culture Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Steve's done some work for me too - absolutely top guy who does a really good job. He's over in Birkenhead - a 25 minute zip down the M53. Quote
