Doddy
Really cool. I'm not a fan of Mars Volta but I dig Juan Alderete and what he does with his effects. That's a really small board for him but he's still got some really cool stuff going on.
CuticleThorns
really wanna get hold of a 20/20 Multiplay - they sound fun! as for juan i like his new streamlined set-up, was sure he auctioned off all his old fender bass's and exclusively played Laklands... seems he kept a few hidden away! molan
I've always struggled a bit with Mars Volta but I saw Juan A with Big Sir last year & really enjoyed them. Alderete's bass sounded great live. They opened with this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPIbuu39_j4
