Ian Savage
Cymbals on amazing 'Buy Two Get One Free' offer - £50 for an excellent, well-matched crash 'n' ride setup in the form of a Stagg SH 16" crash and 20" 'Medium Regular' ride and I'll throw in a second 16" crash from the Stagg 'X' series. As you can see, the logo wear on the crash is worse than on the ride, but both have no cracks or keyholing, and I've been through a few Staggs to get a pair which sound superb and sit together in the mix very well. The 'X' series crash is much lighter in weight than the SH, and if I'm honest doesn't sound anywhere near as good, but perfectly passable as a spare or for practise use. Also decided I can do without my Gibraltar tom mount (designed to be mounted on a cymbal stand)- it's the smaller 10.5mm L-rod diameter (which fits Premier (from experience) and apparently Mapex, Tama and Ludwig according to Gibraltar - DW and Gretsch use the larger 12.7mm diameter, check yours for compatability!), in perfect working order, no movement once tightened but no 'scarring' on the L-rod ball from over-tightening. Twenty quid for him an' all? And a Gibraltar 5000 series boom cymbal stand in very good condition, one of these: http://www.gibraltarhardware.com/?fa=detai...685&cid=124 - call that £25 (they're £40 new), or £40 for stand and tom bracket (plus any postage)?
