karlfer Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 , Just off to turn over a few offies . Good luck Martin. Karl.
Prime_BASS Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I offer thee a twix and a £10. That must be nearest offer? Really could buy this but really can't justify another bass!
karlfer Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011
MB1. Hey Karl! O.N.O stands for" Or nearest offer!" Not "Or nearest Offie!"
.
wombatboter Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Pfew... really nice bass. There are plans to start a Level 42 tribute band around here (just for fun, no great expectations as usual although it would have to be well played) and this bass would just be perfect to deliver the goods.. Only thing that keeps me from buying a Kingbass (I had one before, a blue one with dolphin leds, which I sold because I had no band to use it in) is that it's still not certain if those plans are going to come through and then this would be a bit harder to use (I have other basses to cover certain "areas") Sorry for thinking aloud ... really tempting, these are great basses which are very easy to play.

Come on Martin...have another look at my Gear Porn thread..
martthebass Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Really nice bass Martin.......if I could only slap.
wombatboter Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 It performs really well when slapping but it's not a one-trick pony...A lot of sounds are possible and the sustain is great.

I'd buy one of these for finger style, I think it would be kind to my hand injury also! BUMP!!!
martthebass Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Think someone should nab this before the graphite pixies get it.....
fender73 Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Regret selling mine back in 2008, as people always say, if i had the money.....
martthebass Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Fancy a swap for a Ric, a slightly modded Sue Ryder and 5 of the opaque yellow spangles that are very rare these days?.............BUMP

wombatboter Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Have a bump so someone else gets it and I can get it out of my head :-)

Now: A Stingray 30th Anni PLUS Sue Ryder Modded PLUS Yellow Spangles AND 4 malteasers (though there is a dog hair on one of them). Is that serious enough for yer? BUMP.. Edited September 16, 2011 by martthebass
martthebass Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 I'll take this Martin, but only if you change that bloody carbon neck and put a decent wooden one on..........gets coat.
martthebass Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011
MB1. its a through neck! What do you think my name is Dean Tavolaris?(Magician Extraordinaire) BUMP!
Through neck......through neck! Going all posh now are we?
