Great fuzz. I had the mid switch installed and it sounds fantastic either way. It sounds amazing on both guitar and bass.

Loads of low end and vast amounts of fuzz on tap. The tone pot is versatile, sweeping from thick and dark to biting and bright and everything in between.

There is a slight scratch on the unit from moving around my pedal board, but other than that it is in great nick.

£75 delivered is a fair price for a top pedal.

Cheers

I'm enjoying the one I bought off Kev; The best thing about it IMO is how flexible it is, and how responsive it is to tweaks, even without the 'mid mod'. Appears to work well with active basses as well, which was a surprise.

I kinda want one of these again. Why do I always want the effects that I have sold? What's wrong with me?! Apologies for hijack, have a bump!

How does this sound in comparison to something from EHX.

Im keen on getting some distortion in my sound but dont want to lose bottom end.

Ive just brought a ODB-3 off here and wanna add a few others into the chain to see what I like.

odb-3 keeps more low end obviously, as it has a blend pot, but this thing beats anything ehx have to offer distortion wise, much more out of control than a big muff will ever be

The pickle pie faithfully retains your low end anyway, so theres not much need for a blend pot IMHO.

Its a thick fuzz anyway, rather than an overdrive. Theres some soundclips of it on bass here http://wrenandcuff.com/pickled_bass.html

The mid switch basically removes the mid-scoop, giving you another range of sounds. I still prefer mine with the scoop, but its nice to have the option of versatility.
Definately recommended from me.
