Line6 Customtone

Hi guys, can someone help please!! I didn't think I could be this stupid, but I cannot for the life of me work out how to download tones from Customtone for my BassPod XT Live.

I have found a tone I want, but when I click on "get tone" the download box appears but is hidden by a second box asking if i want to "find" a program to open it or do i want to "save". if I click save, both dialog boxes disappear and nothing has been downloaded either to my usual downloads folder in W7 or to the Tone Locker folder...

I must be doing something idiotically stupid here, but its driving me mental!!!

I've found a section in preferences where you can associate file types in the tone locker. I have selected all three types and chosen apply and OK, but it is not saving my selections... is this just rubbishy sortware or am I doing something wrong!!
