discreet
** SOLD ** SOLD ** SOLD** Very reluctant sale of my 1976 USA Fender Precision Bass, Olympic White, Black Pickguard, Maple Neck. I bought this bass brand new in 1976 and have owned it since. It is absolutely stock, original and unmodified. No remedial work or restoration. I've had the pickguard off once in 35 years to replace the pickup foam, which had perished. I still have the original foam. Serial number: 703XXX. This is an early 76 model, before the logo and serial number position changes of that year. Weight: 8.8lb. Ashtrays and thumbrest missing in action. No case. Strung with DR Fat Beams, 45-105. Sound like James Jamerson or Jean-Jacques Burnel, it's up to you. Price: £1475. I am open to sensible offers. Cash on collection only (SE London). May deliver within M25 area. Pics via link in my sig, below. V V V Check it! V V V Edited September 7, 2011 by discreet
Clarky
I have seen this bass being used in anger at Mark/discreet's Pigbag gig at the Jazz Cafe earlier this year. It both looks and sounds immense. If I didn't already have my oly White P bass I would be snapping this up. Someone grab a stonking bass here!
