That decal doesn't loook right does it? Think I would avoid. There will be some more knowledgable BC'eers along soon I should think.

I can't recall ever seeing MIM jazzes in that colour but I've seen Squiers in that shade of metallic blue. The one I played came with domed precision-type knobs as standard, so that *might* explain the weird knobs on it. The pics aren't good enough for me to say any much than that.

I checked the serial number with the Fender serial number website, the number relates to a Mexican Bass made between 98 and 99. Something not right about this one in my opinion.

Could be a MIM neck on a Squier body.

I have a squier with a dodgy looking Fender logo

It has been lightly sanded and applied hence the discoloration and 'floating' appearance of decal.

Not looking like a MIM to me but still £180 is probably a good price if it's a Squier and not some plywood copy.
