Delberthot
He might get mistaken for Jasper Carrot but damn I want to learn some of those moves
witterth
This vid has been on here a few times before Del, but I allways come back to it and have yet another look! so thanks for the heads up again. Pino is a fantastic player who seems to be able to do everything and anything in a seemingly effortless way, the lesson I get from watching him is, make EVERY note have a "value" no BS on runs/fills/scales. some lovley bits of vibrato here and there too. bass playing of the highest order, sublime. vmaxblues
This is why this guy is my hero, no nonsense, no showboating, just class playing in an understated way.

risingson
He's my favourite bass player, just totally awe inspiring. Him and Steve Jordan are a force to be reckoned with when they play together.
Chris2112
I was never much a fan of a blues so this does nothing for me. When Pino is playing his fretless in a jazz fusion setting, thats a bit more interesting!
Lozz196
Curses, I already wanted a Pino Signature Precision, and watching that has done nothing to quell the desire. Aaaaaarrrrgggghhhhh Amazing player though, and though I`m not too keen on the music itself, he is just amazing, but everything he`s playing is right for the song, don`t get in the way at all. electric nate
oh niiiiice, i'm not usually into big name bass players, but this guy is great. Real down to earth quality playing. He's a proper bass player, rather than a soloist with a bass. Thankyou!
witterth
Another bit of Pino I like (lots of dodgy mullets aside, that is) http://youtu.be/YqmjbiA_wnc though probably too much "boogie woogie" piano for that "academy" bloke. you gotta love Pino, hes the best. he should have his own appreciation thread, though maybe this is it. acidbass
A friend of mine is writing a hip-hop album, and he hired Pino to play bass on a track - I heard the track last night (bass, drums, vocals and organ) and it is INCREDIBLE! Just recorded last week and my word, the guy still has it!
