Hello forum and thanks for taking time to read my first posting on my first day of being a member.

I have been plucking on basses for a few years now but only recently started to try and take it seriously and hoping to get a band together soon.

I am playing a 3pickup humbucker vintage bass(lovely sound) and its being played through a pretty rubbish 30watt drive amp.
I have also used a pandora px4 so i can have different amp sounds without the cost hahaha.

if anyone replies to me and i dont get back to you its im not used to this forum outlay, but i was hoping someone could advise me of some blues riffs and patterns.

Hello and welcome to the board. You'll find the locals friendly and happy to help.

A 3 humbucker bass would be unusual. The bass in the link you posted has a J and P (split) pickup on it. ([url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bass_guitar#Magnetic_pickups"]see here for more pickup info[/url])
