My thinking was, when I made an offer on this, have a word with John Diggins, find out what it would cost to have it brought back to it's former glory, spend maybe a couple of hundred quid max (as we know, John is a very nice fella to do business with) and, Hay pressed oooh, you have the best MM-alike around. Less than a grand for a super-ray?? Bargain!!!

Pity that BGM and I couldn't reach a suitable trade....
