Hi all

I occupy the Geezer Butler position in a Sabbath tribute. I've knocked up a 69 replica sunburst P bass and picked up a nice plexi bass reissue to keep it authentic (can't afford the SVT rig sadly yet).

I'm aiming to build a replica of Geezers white John Birch bass but can't find any decent photo's, other than the two readily available shots on Google images. I've scoured the Sabbath sites and Geezers own site but can't get a good shot of it nor any technical specs.

I have however acquired the 'enjoy cocaine' sticker to out on it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I thought he played a black john birch with white poka dots?? I owned a 70's Birch 4001, sounded just like Geezer plugged in but i didn't get along with the high output pickups - very much a pick players bass

My dad used to do electrical work for Geezer and says he is a nice chap, would it be worth trying to conatct him with a request for pictures? You never know he might let you pop and see it for yourself, where does he live these days?
