Guest bassman7755 Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Anyone know of or have any free examples ?. I know theres a book of them available for £25 but was hoping someone might have other suggestions, looking for simple stuff (easy keys/rhythm) mainly to solidify my fingerboard note location. Quote
Bilbo Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Why would this need s seperate book? Just use any book containing one octave exercises and play them on one string. Or write your own? Quote

Infact I have been cobbling together my own, was just putting feelers out incase anyonelse had already done so and was prepared to share them. Quote
Doddy Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 I think the best bet is just to learn the notes that are in the scales-that way you can play them over one, two, three or four strings. You don't need a specialist book for playing on one string. Quote
Faithless Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 It will get your ass kicked for quite some time: http://www.joehubbardbass.com/wp-content/u...er-Exercise.pdf Quote
