Anyone know of or have any free examples ?. I know theres a book of them available for £25 but was hoping someone might have other suggestions, looking for simple stuff (easy keys/rhythm) mainly to solidify my fingerboard note location.
Why would this need s seperate book? Just use any book containing one octave exercises and play them on one string.

Or write your own?
Good points. Infact I have been cobbling together my own, was just putting feelers out incase anyonelse had already done so and was prepared to share them.

I think the best bet is just to learn the notes that are in the scales-that way you can play them over
one, two, three or four strings. You don't need a specialist book for playing on one string.
