Johnnyc Posted September 12, 2011 Share Posted September 12, 2011 In the first week of july i bought an ampeg svt-VR ex display for £750, wasnt a scratch on it, it looked like new, turned up to band practice and within 2 hours the amp broke... it got sent back to the shop mid july and they couldnt fix it so they sent it back to ampeg. it's now the 2nd week of sept and i've still not got it back and had no indication of when i will get it. in fairness to the shop they've loaned me an ampeg B500DR to use in the meantime but we all know it just doesnt sound the same. surely it cant take this long for ampeg to fix the darn thing??
