If I sold it on eBay for £700 the charges for Paypal would be about £15 and plus eBay charges would both add up to over £20

i worked out that if i sold my 'ray through ebay for around £700 then it would cost about £30ish in fees :)

i could have got it wrong though

Maybe if you didn't insist on collection only you would broaden the number of people interested. Good luck with the sale. It's a great looking Stingray.

I agree, I don't know if you guys remember what happened to the Ashdown 2X10 combo I sent - It was smashed to bits.

Can anyone suggest/advise me how I could wrap the bass? It will be in the hardcase, but what else do I need to do for protection?

I acquire a suitably sized box usually from my local music store. Because I am a good customer I never have a bother in getting a box. As your Stingray is in it's own hardcase I wouldn't see the necessity to pack inside the case. The M'man cases are a good fit. I pack the space between the case and the inside of the box with bubble wrap/cardboard/newspaper so that the case cannot move inside the box. I have yet to have a problem.

I'm surprised your Stingray is still here at this price. It's a great buy. We must all be short of cash!

Stunning bass Perry, if it wasn't for the neck I'd bite yer hand off. Have you thought about a new neck?

Just want to say, Perry is a nice, genuine bloke, and I would have no hesitation in dealing with him what so ever. I've been to play this bass and it seriously does play as well as it looks, and sounds the absolute b*ll*cks. If I'd been able to scrape the cash together in time, this would have come home with me yesterday. Seriously gutted about it!!

So, here's a free bump, and if its still around when I've got the cash, I'll nab it.

The bass is mint no scratches vitually no fret wear.

The bass has been professionally set-up my Chris at Mcyntyre Guitars www.mcintyreguitars.com

Come with Musicman hardcase

Collection only as I want to hand it over in it's mint condition.

The Transluciant Orange with matching headstock is rare and I have never seen the scratchplate on any other orange Musicman.

I'm asking for £850

it's almost painful watching this sit here @ £675 with no cash buyers trying to rip Perry's arm off...:)

That's the thing - I only get 2 days pay this week, so I wouldn't have the full amount till next friday - And Perry is trying to shift it before then, so may as well see if he gets any offers first :)

If I could, I would buy this bass no doubt.
Though if I sold my gear I could. But I'd feel bad as my mum and dad bought me a new guitar at crimbo :) With out that I'd be £175 off anyway. Darn this cruel world! Hehe.

Crosses Fingers that no one buys this bass till I miraculously gain £175 to buy it
