LemonCello Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 A beautiful thing that is! How does it play? LC
sunfish Posted September 14, 2011 Author Posted September 14, 2011 It plays really well. I'ts set up with a low action so its pretty fast. The string spacing is more Precision that Jazz the neck is slim but wider than a Jazz [quote name='LemonCello' post='1373804' date='Sep 14 2011, 09:39 PM']A beautiful thing that is! How does it play? LemonCello Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 I've been liking the look of this for some days now hmmm. Apols for all the questions, but I have a few more for you if that's OK? Does it come with a case? Can you tell me the width at the nut please? How do you find the custom shop pups? Last question, is the body the same size as a Jazz as I don't get on with small bodied basses? You are tantalisingly close to me in Elgar country too! Cheers, LC
sunfish Posted September 18, 2011 Author Posted September 18, 2011 Hi width at nut is 44mm I have a hard foam case I could put it in if required. Haven't got a standard Jazz at the moment but the body is about the same width as my Jazz Plus and longer top horn. Hope this helps
sunfish Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 I've been holding this for someone but he's disappeared altogether. So its back up for sale.
plankspanker Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Sorry to show my ignorance but is this active or passive. I'm guessing passive. Thanks.
sunfish Posted October 29, 2011 Author Posted October 29, 2011 Hi This is a passive bass Thanks for the interest
molan Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Nice bass, light weight, well balanced and, although it's passive it still has a great punchy sound
