Sixty-eight squid for an amp bag??

Markbass Bag

I know you generally have to pay more for quality, but in these times of hardship... sixty-eight squid?? C'maan!!

It's a little nylon bag with zips, velcro, pockets and a strap! :) Check out my alternative 'housing solution'...

A perfect fit for my MB LM250. Also has internal and external zipped pockets for leads, other pockets for mobile phone, bits and bobs, adjustable shoulder strap, big front flap, velcro fastners, etc and it was £12.49 including Royal Mail 1st Class delivery. DV247 want sick squid extra for delivery (a total of seventy-four squid! Outrage - think of the amount of petrol you could buy for that*)!

Also available in BLACK, KHAKI, BLUE, RED ...and PINK. :)

PS: I have no connection with the seller or with eBay.

* About 11-12 gallons.

The Gig-Skinz ones are much cheaper, especially if you go second hand.

I also got a bag off eBay for my Superfly, spent a while looking for a good fit and ended up with this one:

When i get a spare moment i'm going to line it with some thick PVC material from work so it's extra strong and get all the stitching sewn over, should be good for quite a few years. The seller also has quite a few other bags that would be suitable for micro heads but this one was the best fit for the Ashdown LG/Superfly.

:) Bloody hell you're right, I hadn't noticed! Hence the extra £55.51. Totally worth it, then.

. . . as is £19.99 for a bit of velcro to stop your bass falling over - well, £0.99 for the velcro and £19 for the logo. :)

I'm not sure it'd fit the LM heads, i got it for the Superfly which is longer and not as wide. It's quite a sug fit without being overly tight so i think it's more suited to the Ashdown Superfly/LG heads.

The seller has loads of bags though so i'm sure there's something for every head!

:) As we were then, and herself can keep her dental floss, foreign coins and mooncup somewhere else.

When I saw the title of this thread I knew straight away what it was about :)

I have a backpack with a little padded section to fit a laptop in. My F1 fits perfectly plus I have room for all my leads, spares, tools, and even a packed lunch if I feel like 'going grandad'. Think it cost me about £12!

Depends on how many post-show beers I have.

I admit the Gig Skinz Small Utility Bag really looks like the business, but it's still forty or fifty squid.
Horses for courses, I suppose. I'm just feeling a bit arsy because I'm skint! :)

On the other hand, this seems like a bargain compared to the Mono 365 Bag so... as usual, it's all relative. :)

Peace out!

I had one of the larger MB bags for my SA450, paid about £85 and it was rubbish. It has holes at each end for the vents but these also let in rain if you have the bag on your back/shoulder.
I also found the zip on the front pocket to rip after a few months.

I had a TC Electronic bag, for my Classic 450. When I got my Ampeg PF 500 I was really pleased that it fitted into the TC bag. I have of course inked out the TC Electronics logo - my OCD would not have allowed me to keep it visible.

I've got a laptop rucksack - plenty of room for cables, tools, spares, etc, plus a slot which fits the RH450 perfectly. Rucksack on back, double guitar case in one hand, cab in the other, one trip load-in. :)

Then I get collared to help bring in the pointlessly massive PA... :)

Same here, plus heavy guitar combo's, more guitars than the band have hands etc. Ive stared having to go for a pee at load outs recently :)

Now i have a F1 i can get it, along with everything else other than bass and cab in to a small DELL laptop bag. More protection and it didnt cost me anything as i found it in a skip.
