Westone Thunder IIA

Here is an excellent condition 1981 Matsumoku Westone thunder IIA (Active) electric guitar with 5-ply rock Maple and Walnut neck with Canadian ash wings and rosewood fingerboard.This model was based on the SG, but with their own humbucker style pickups with 3 way switch, phase, coil tap and active on/off switches. The finish is a translucent midnight blue lacquer that looks like black in most light apart from direct sunlight.

The guitar is in very good physical condition for its age with just the odd little chip to the varnish here and there, other than that it really has been well looked after in the 15 years I have had it.

is there much fret wear on the westone? and also whereabouts is collection from cheers

There is some wear, but it is even, rather than patchy, with no grooves etc , i'll try and take some close ups when the light is better. Collection would be from Oxford area.
