wateroftyne Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 (edited) Despite not being a fan of the show (and its ilk) I was quite chuffed to get the phone call. The big question is - J or P? Edited November 11, 2011 by wateroftyne Quote
tonyf Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Take em both. Gig bags are cheap and you'll soon have some lacky to carry em round as you're all "rich and famous". lol Quote
acidbass Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Precision for me. The ultimate radio bass! Quote
Lozz196 Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Take both - better to have one that`s not needed there, than having one that`s needed, that isn`t there. Quote
LemonCello Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 If it is Jedward, can I request a slow lingering death? Quote
BigRedX Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I think it depends on why you've been booked. If it's as a result of some other band/gig etc. then use whatever bass you were using for that. If it's just because you play bass, are available and at the right price then you'll probably need to take both. Quote

BigRedX Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Probably the safest choice. Good luck and let us know how you get on (preferably with links/clips)! Quote

JTUK Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Most X 'factors' are either tied up so tight, it is strictly top $ or they have been let go so the artist is in self funding territory, with what ever budget the user can put up. I think it sounds like a nice venture so congrats. Quote

[/quote] If it's Jedward, don't forget to take a pair of pliers, handcuffs, a wire saw and some surgical tubing. Ear plugs might be helpful too. Oh yeah, and be sure to clean up afterwards Quote
