GreeneKing Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) I've just bought a lovely Sterling 5 in pearl white and it pains me to have to sell my mint Sandberg JM5 in burst. It sounds really sweet and has hardly been out of the house since I paid £1250 for it not a year ago. If I'm honest I'm not, and never have been a sunburst admirer but bought this Sandy on the strength of the tone and the build quality. I'm looking for £800. Trades considered, 5's only and even another Sandberg in a different hue Here she is, in not so sunny Kendal. Peter Edited September 25, 2011 by GreeneKing
Ben Jamin Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Definite I might have to drop you a PM! Either way, would there be any interest in a German Warwick $$ Corvette 5-string? Similar controls, except you can coil split both humbuckers individually into parallel, series and single-coil and it's got a passive mode/pre-amp bypass. Cheers! Ben
GreeneKing Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 Hiya Ben I'm not really a fan of the newer Warwicks tbh. Now if it was an 89 NT Thumb - I err wouldn't be able to afford it
gareth1982 Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Any interest in a trade for my immaculate black 5 string '97 Gibson Les Paul (Bartoilini p'ups and preamp?). I'm going to be up your way on Saturday morning (on way to Scotland).
GreeneKing Posted September 21, 2011 Author Posted September 21, 2011 Apologies for not replying to the thread earlier but I'm away for a few days (Cadwell Park on my bike). I will reply to all the pms tomorrow but I have a possible trade prospect already discussed with another member. Peter
GreeneKing Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 I've traded my Sandberg, sad to see it go but another similar bass in the herd and it's more my style Alan, a pleasure as always Peter
