Tonal difference between the GR2 and the Q Tron Plus?

I used to have an old Q Tron and enjoyed its tone and how it was a bit 'nuts'. And now I'm after a filter again, with an FX loop, and have read lots of good things about the GR2.

Now I'm unable to do a direct comparison between the two and so I was wondering if anybody could provide me with a description of the tonal difference between the GR2 and the Q Tron Plus.
