New-look site and problems sending PM's (IE6 issues perhaps?)

Hi all,

At work I like to browse the site from time to time during the day (as one does )
a: to keep up-to-date with what's going on in the world of BC (like this new look for example)
b: to relieve the tedium of being stuck in an office for 8 hours and
c: to check out the BC marketplace

While at work I tried to send a PM to a member today on three separate occasions but failed each time.
Going by what I could figure out you hover the cursor over the person’s ID, you’re then presented with a couple of options, one being ‘Send Message’, so you click on this and I assume are presented with a PM box? The first two parts are fine but when I click on the ‘Send Message’ option nothing happens.
I can only assume it has something to do with the New-Look site coupled with fact we're eons behind everyone else in terms of browsers and are still using outdated IE6.

Prior to the update I never had any problems while at work so can anyone confirm that IE6 is no longer supported or could the problem lie elsewhere?

I'm just about to leave work for the day so I'll wait till I get home and reattempt to send the message.
