Ok, so now I know my post count. As for ranking I would be No.1 in being the No.1 Keira Knightely, Natalie Imbruglia and Yvonna Strahovski fan on basschat. Thats about as far as I go in terms of rankngs I'm afraid

In terms of boring people to death about compression and recording I'd say I rate quite highly, in terms of bass playing I'd say significantly lower (oh so significantly), I'm not going to enter any conversation about ranking my ranking though, that would be perverse....

I have long term ambitions to acquire a symbiotic connection with the bass (like gits who are able just to pick up the damn thing and play the hell out of it as naturally as one might brush one's teeth). However, the only bassist I actively compete against is myself. By that logic therefore I am both the best and the worst bassist in this world view
