dc2009
It's not about wearing a hat indoors though.

BottomE
What about that Jamiroquai guy? I'd look like a complete twat in that hat.
Monckyman
Anyone would look a complete twat in that hat. I have a few hats and tested the theory. All my German Volksturm/Eagle has landed Broadsword calling Danny boy hats just made me look like someone in a Coldplay tribute band(shudder). The black trilby made me look like a very crap Blues brother and the Grey taffeta trilby I`d sat on on a trip back from Italy so was more Streets of London than London Calling.. A couple of beanie hats just made me look ridiculous in an Edge sort of way. The glasses just added to the sex pest image. So, I`m still unconvinced of the Magic Hat theorem. On a side note, my drummer always wears a hat. Always. I`ve never seen his hair. He has dreads (I think),and everyone I`ve asked who knows him claims not to have seen it either... HMMMM Sort of makes him look like the Alien in um.. Aliens. He distracts us though with his outlandish footwear.Something I find common among drummers. Anyway where was I? oh. Len_derby
Yes MM, drummer's footware... Maybe that's another thread. I did a bit with a drummer who played in wrestling boots. Very odd. I certainly made sure he didn't go anywhere near my daughters.
TheRev
I have only recently converted to bass-related hat wearing - both my playing and attention from da laydeez has improved dramatically. I fully support the bassists in hats theorem and shall not perform hatless ever again. Except when it's really hot, obviously.
