Jono Bolton Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 What do I need to do it? I'm doing a Stratocaster project and the screw holes don't line up with the ones in the new scratchplate. Quote
BOD2 Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 Presumably they'll be under the scratchplate so it's not a cosmetic issue ? You only need to fill them if you have to screw new screws very close to them. In this case you could just use slivers of matchstick or cocktail stick. There isn't a lot of pressure on a scratchplate screw so that will hold these screws adequately. Quote
The Burpster Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 I make plugs out of Spruce dowelling.... then stain them to match... But I am a bit anal about these things! the Bodster is spot on tho' you can do it with matches... Quote
