charic
Well I was doing some more recording yesterday for Cerberus Cells upcoming EP and realised I was lacking the punch I really wanted from my RH450. This lead to a lot of tweaking, initially it was set quite treble heavy which on my old amp used to add a lot of punch (line 6 ld300 pro). 2 hours of tweak / record / listen / tweak and I have my near perfect sound. Turns out as a bassist.... I like Bass in my sound the RH450 is a lot punchier in the region and really coming through great in the mix now. Current setup: ACG Finn strung with Newtone strings specifically designed for drop C - 90% Bridge pickup with a fair amount of treble / 10% Neck pickup with a lot of bass - RH450 set for boosting bass with tubetone at 1/4. FANTASTIC!
