Clarky Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Following recent issues featuring BurritoBass and Dood, SiBob graces the player's interview section with his lovely (but unplugged-in!) vintage Jazz bass. Some wise words uttered too. Heaven forfen they ever ask me - "so Clarky, how do you approach bass playing?" "Ermm, I play the root notes and occasionally, when I try to be a jazz musician, a fifth" "Errr, thank you, and who are your favourite bass players" "Jamerson, LaFaro and Laeticia Casta" etc Quote
charic Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Very Nice, will try and read it somepoint Quote
Dood Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Good work Sibob! Will grab a copy and take a look! Quote
xilddx Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Cool! I read it. Nice one! I have paid no attention to Richard Bona, but what you said about his approach due to being a singer is dead on. Quote
Sibob Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Hey all Cheers guys....I haven't actually seen it yet haha, a few people have written on my facebook about it yesterday and thats the first I heard about it, it was submitted about 6months ago. Gear changes since the article was submitted include the Jap Squier P going and a '71 P added, as well as another Compact now (2 in total). Looking forward to getting hold of it Si Quote
