chaypup
Just seeing if there are any people out there interested in this little rarity. Delta Bass 300 2x8" combo These were made by Overwater and *cough* Carlsboro, and were marketed as a high-end amp with a price tag at the time to match (around £1000). It's a great amp with 2 switchable channel inputs a 9 band graphoc equalizer, mute function and a host of other tweakable controls. In the depths of my emails there is a manual somewhere and I'll try and dig it out for full spec. It's heavy. Something this size really shouldn't weigh this much - I can just about manage it on my own but with my music room on the 2nd floor, putting it away after gigs is starting to kill me! I'm going to ask £200 firm which is a bit less than I paid a year ago. Links to the pics are below but if anyone could tell me how to upload or embed with getting error messages or the message "basschat does not allow that type of embed code" that would be great! Macko1968
I remember these, they cost a fortune & had features I'd never seen before on a bass amp. I think the plan was to challenge TE in the UK boutique market but they disappeared almost overnight. Looking forward to the pics!

patch006
This is a great combo and is absolute quality, bargain for any one. This was mine for a couple of years. The head/ amp is easily removable so can be used with other cabs. Edited September 26, 2011 by patch006

Rich
I had a Delta rig for a while -- the 600w head with the 1x18(?) and 2x8 cabs. The sound was brilliant but oh god that big cab was sooo heavy... This is a bargain.

hillbilly deluxe
I have the 300w head, had it up for sale last year but changed my mind and kept it.Really great loud clean amp.I've had it for at least ten years and love it.As a previous poster said, the amp is rack mounted into the combo, which is good because these amps excell with most cabs that i've tried. Bump. Edited October 4, 2011 by hillbilly deluxe

Oldman
What would be the chance of Dimensions and Weight? is the output into the speaker configuration at 4Ohms or 8Ohms?
adledman
i asked after the weight but alas no.
Oldman
Weight, dimensions, output and speaker impedance might help you sell this item. It would certainly help me to evaluate it's worth....
chaypup
I did have an e-manual, annoyingly it's gone awol from my hard drive and I can't find another. As mentioned above, it HEAVY, about yay big and it's 4ohm output I think. will confirm at some point, but prob not too quickly as I'm quite enjoying using the head with my Rs212 at the moment! chaypup
Here are the specs - and a big thanks to John Roberts at Carlsbro uk who emailed them to me in a matter of hours - top chap! Weight - 41.3kg Height - 540mm Width - 560mm Depth - 405mm It's 300wRMS @ 4Ω, 190wRMS @ 8Ω. best bet though is to come and try it! I don't massively fancy shipping it but I will if that's how it goes. Thanks! EDIT: Just checked with interparcel and shipping will be £36 inc. VAT and Insurance.
