Thanks mate, I must admit that's had some EQ fiddling in Logic. Correct, it's the Fender/AllParts jobby into my PJB Bass Buddy. The compressor on the unit is engaged, and just recorded straight into Logic via the line out of the PJB into a Lexicon Alpha Interface. The sound is fairly representative of the bass anyway, but it always sounds better with a bit of additional EQ'ing.
