G-funk45 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 I would take this if it wasn't for the inlays. Beautiful bass though.
Cheers G-funk Had some interest, nothing firm though (yet) now reduced to £749.98 Chris

bassface2k10 Posted October 23, 2011 Author Posted October 23, 2011 (edited) Will weigh it tomorrow Tom when i get my hands on some scales, however I can tell you it's a heavy so and so, nothing a comfort strap can't handle Edited October 23, 2011 by bassface2k10
bassface2k10 Posted October 24, 2011 Author Posted October 24, 2011 some interest but no takers, so I have withdrawn this from sale.
bassface2k10 Posted October 28, 2011 Author Posted October 28, 2011 (edited) Ok it's back up for trade or sale, will consider trades other than for a P bass + cash either way if it's a beauty :-) all the best Chris Edited October 28, 2011 by bassface2k10
bassface2k10 Posted October 29, 2011 Author Posted October 29, 2011 Have been asked how much it weighs, on the bathroom scales it's 6kg which = 13 lbs 3.6 oz
gjones Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 (edited) Very nice. A jazz with a Musicman humbucker - the best of both worlds. Pretty too. I've just been checking these out on youtube.........what a sound! Very musicman with a hint of jazz. I want one! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOcHMTPsRE8&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWd7LqG5NxA But not today as I don't have bucks (wrong timing) good luck with the sale though. TheGreek Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 I've played this a couple of times and I must say this is a genuinely nice bass - here's a couple of reviews I found: http://www.harmonyce...products/104526 Though this is a serious lump of wood it doesn't feel like 6kg of bass - maybe you just need a wide strap..
Bankai Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 It's a tough call. I've been planning on ordering a custom one of these but this would be considerably cheaper. Especially seeing as I have an MIA P... Time for internal debates to ensue...

JCB Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011
Have been asked how much it weighs, on the bathroom scales it's 6kg which = 13 lbs 3.6 oz
MikeH will be somewhat relieved to learn that my kitchen scales register a featherweight 10lb 13oz.... hope mine are more accurate than Chris's. It feels about the same weight, in my hands at least, as a Les Paul I have which is about 10.5 lbs as well. Looking forward to picking up the cab tomorrow Mike. Will have your new Sandberg JM4 in the back of the car as an added bonus
mikeh Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Cheers JCB, I think Im still goingto order another comfort strap to be safe ;-) I'll be sorry to see the Epi go, but do think the 2 small aguilars that are coming on Thursday will be better for me. Really cant wait to get my hands on the Sandberg though, cant find a single bad review!!
