eubassix Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) As my Kinal 5 remains unsold, have decided to keep it and offer this bass (OP) :- http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 Bass is exactly as described and shown in OP. The original (tweed) case was never available (from Japan) but it has a new Hiscox. The controls are back to original spec. (Vol-Vol -3EQ). Exceptional build quality & tone. It's 34" scale with 1.75" nut, 9mm spacing at the nut and 18mm at the bridge. Probably the best Jazz-5 I've played...... GONE !!!! Edited November 28, 2011 by eubassix
Oopsdabassist Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Stunning looking Bass bud, love the colour! Was the 1st one ever made Moon Bass Alpha??.....I'll get me coat
SisterAbdullahX Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Hmmm! Could possibly be tempted to straight swap my lovely Pedulla Pentabuzz for this! Interested?
SisterAbdullahX Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Ah! My Ped will be no good to you then. It's a lovely bass you have there, (well, both of them actually!). Good luck with the sale. Have a bump on me.
Golchen Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 That is as nice a Jazz as I have ever seen. If I didn't already have an extremely good jazz bass I would have been very interested!
wilko_66 Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 what's the scale length? any clips of it sound wise? thanks, j
elsharko Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 T'was mine once upon a time... A lovely lovely guitar. You should take the opportunity to bag it if you can!
elsharko Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011
Thanks el's - totally agree! if I had unlimited funds/space, I'd hold onto this as the best J5 I've tried, but looking to fund a new custom 5. IMHO it's similar to but better than any of the Sadowsky M/NYC's I've played.
no bother, good luck ps note one lovely kinal in my profile pic... its done me very proud. very comfortable to play and surprisingly good for classic rock and vintage sounds aswell as modern. took me a while to get used to the look, but i love it now. Id highly recommend these basses too.
Jimelliottbassist Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Can't believe this is still here!! This is a lovely bass!
