Vintage Fender case value

A friend has this case, which from my research looks like it may be a 1962?

He wasn't aware it might have any value but now that he is would probably want to sell it.

Any idea of the value?

Currently trying to find out whether or not there's a registered mark next to the logo to know the year for definite, it seems to be either 66 or 72-75ish

Value on stuff like this is hard.

If you can date it precisely then your best bet is to try and find someone that has a bass of similar age and wants a matching case. You might find someone willing to pay quite a bit for it then (because it will increase the value of their bass then!)

Yeah looks from eBay like it's probably close to the 200 mark roughly maybe a little less, and further investigation showed that it is from 72-75
