MusicJunkie
Hey guys! We are the staff of a music store based in Leicester, and we love bass! One of us is a proper bassist, the others just mess at it. So: What's your favourite ever bassline? Go! From us: The Distance by Cake, Hysteria by Muse, I Want You Back by The Jackson 5 and 10,000 Days (Pt 2) by Tool.
Dr.Gonzo
What an impossible question, but welcome anyway . I love what Tommy Cogbill played on Dusty Springfields Son of a Preacher Man - a flatwound P-bass right in the pocket, very fluet, varied, driving and musical. Incredible playing. I've got the multi track recordings of Marvin Gayes Whats Going on, and the bass playing is so out of time but its absolutely amazing. Nibody
Ramble On, Zep.. hell, ANYTHING John Paul Jones played. Tears of a Clown and a fair few Motown classics too.
