What's it worth?

Hi,

I have a 1970's WEM Dominator Mklll, and I'm trying to find out how much it is worth.

I don't really use it much, and with the recent arrival of twins I could do with a little money.

Is there anyone that could help me with a value, or even anyone out there that would be interested in buying it from me?

They're quite well thought of by guitarists, so you might be best selling it somewhere other than a bass forum. I've seen them priced at up to £250ish for tidy examples, or less for scruffy ones.

The US Plexi Palace site has a UK amps section with a lot of the more "obscue" amps in it, WEM, Vamp etc. You'll be sure to find an expert there but I think they [i]maybe[/i] have a rule about newbie's asking for valuations.

Worth a pop though, I sold a Vamp half-stack to a guy in Australia thru that forum.

I bought one for around £250 not so long ago. nice solid amps. I've also got the WEM dominator bass mk1, which is the same amp but with a 15 inch speaker. Not a great bass amp for clean tones, but good if you want an aggressive gainy sound

I almost got one of these when I started but ended up with a 60 watt Dan Armstrong instead
