Delberthot Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 (edited) Just been having a nosey on the Lollar website just now and see he's brough out a new Thunderbird pickup. He says its wound like the original ones and come in nickel, chrome or gold. The previous one looked exactly like an Epiphone one and was for Epiphones only. This one will do both and he does a wee shim thing to compensate for the deeper cavity in the Epiphone. as the pickup is quite shallow. Still on the pricey side for fitting to an Epiphone ( $416 plus shipping for a pair ) but another option nontheless. The split and single coil P pickups I've bought from him have been amazing so I imagine that this one will be too. Edited September 29, 2011 by Delberthot Quote
Darkstrike Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 What I'd like to know is what level of string spacing they'd handle. Curious if they'd work on a 5er. Quote
BigRedX Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 The Mike Tull T-Bass pick ups come in 5-string versions. Quote
