I might even take notice 😉

LOL!

Very good and vocals reminded me of something I couldn't place for a bit... Haze!

Obviously the accent!

Now stop 🙂

Electronica, techno, triphop all with a dubby feel.

Warning: probably not to everyone's taste! self taught and just I'm just starting to get there with it all. Still here it is:

My first ever remote collaboration with someone. Actually my bass player who is doing the guitars, and a singer he knows, He forced me out of retirement to play the bass. First time ive played bass since July last year. I did all the keys as well. More an exercise in getting to grips with Cubase than a musical masterpiece.

This one is with my bands singer.

Not much of the stuff I have on Soundcloud is directly related to bass, but in case someone is interested for a check, here it is my account to be added to the collective.

Thanks in advance for anyone listening.

How do you embed like above?

Just copy the sharing link from Soundcloud and past it in.

Like this 😁

Open up your Profile page/click on share.

When the window opens, copy the link and then just paste into your Basschat post.

All your tracks will then be available as in Basslard's post.

If you want just the one track, open up the track page and do the same, or just copy the address from the address bar.

Question... my soundcloud is a warts and all trip through my musical 'career'.

Is it wise to edit it if I want to get gigs?

I dont use SC much, but ive also though about this. Its mainly now just for the current band, and the recordings I’m doing with some of the band members, but has a lot of my old stuff as well., which isn’t relevant.

My thoughts are to put all the relevant stuff in a playlist and just give that link to people. If they go snooping around then I’m sure they will realise whats what.

Aha, just stumbled across this thread after cobbling together all the solo bass things I recorded while trapped in the house over the last 18 months...

Nothing particular polished, but was an interesting exercise.

I found some recordings of me playing with my good friend Steve McGill. Back in 2004 (I think) recorded at a gig at The Miners Arms, Huthwaite.

In my signature :)

My SoundCloud profile is where most of my musical output get uploaded to, including both serious compositions for my musical project, just for the fun of it recordings and experiments, as well as various sound tests, my YouTube channel is more exclusively dedicated to more serious recordings, though also working as a cross project channel like my SoundCloud profile.

Here are a couple of samples:
