The current Legacy Standard models are part of Zons import line & have maple necks, not carbon fibre ones. The basses in the links posted earlier are older USA built Legacy Standards with carbon fibre bolt on necks, so the $1700 you quoted has no relevance to these models. Edited October 1, 2011 by RhysP
