[/quote] The issue with active basses is that it's the first stage in the preamp that demodulates the signal; you need to get the ferrite between wherever the signal gets in and that stage. After that it's too late; it's audio. So if you have a passive bass you can stick a ferrite on the lead, and hopefully filter the signal out before it gets to the preamp. With a passive bass you could try putting it on the lead between pickup and electronics. The control cavity would have to be really well screened.
