Clip on tuner

Has anyone found one that will successfully have to go down to a low A. i bought a cheap one from amazon and it won't go below E?

I was trying that but it didn't like picking it up at all, however I did buy the cheapest i could find so maybe a more expensive one will work, just wondering if anyone had particularly great success with one. Definately love the idea just need the right model.

Not worried about size just need it to pick up the lows, but thanks for looking.

Try pinching the clamp bit so it's tighter on the bass, see if that improves things. The one i have doesn't grip the bass tightly enough and doesn't pick up the vibrations as a result.

If that helps then you could glue a rubber pad onto the clamp so it grips better.
