mcnach Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 ah, wait ages for a bus, then three come at once Have a bump on me! (just bought a cream set)
Legion Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Couple of questions (not very familiar with these)... Are those adjustable pole peices I see? Looking at the website they seem to be suggesting that the standard set of these is one pickup longer than the other? Cheers
mcnach Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 I'm not the seller, but I just bought a set of these, in cream. The polepieces are adjustable, yes, using small allen keys. And yes, the bridge pickup is a bit longer (maybe 3mm?) than the other. That's how most Jazz basses are. The exception is using both the same length... but some are that way. Best to check first whether yours are teh standard (bridge longer by about 3mm or so) or not.
Fuzzbass2000 Posted October 17, 2011 Author Posted October 17, 2011 Great pickups for sure (and the adjustable polepieces are a godsend) - but I'm back to my p-basses at the moment.
