fretless filling

Hi you all, i ve got a ibanez gwb35 , i took all the plastic filling as they where coming out all the time , try to glue them but i decide to put something else instead of the plastic stuff
now ihow can i fill the empty space?should i put epoxy?
if yes please explain to me how to do it

I used wood filler for my de-fret.No problems with it on un coated rosewood.

Mask either side of the gaps with masking tape before you fill to stop the filler from spreading all over the fretboard.

I stuck in little bits of veneer with superglue, and cut them down with a stanley blade. Much nicer than my wood fillered neck is.

Oh, if they're dots, use a hole punch to get them out of the veneer, and pile them up high so you can sand them down to fit.
