Daaaveman.
Hi all! Brass player come bassist originally from Derbyshire - studying for my Ba in Music at Salford Uni currently. Been playing bass for about 3 years, and loved every minute of it! I use a Yamaha RBX5A2 with a 400watt 1978 Peavey Mark III Series amp and an unknown 4x10 speaker. Played a fair few genres, including a 60's-style cover band, a funk trio, big bands and more recently, an alternative rock quintet. I eventually want to be in a dedicated prog rock band, with bands like Genesis, Rush, Big Big Train, Yes and Dream Theater making me want to pick up bass in the first place! Looking forward to geeking out with y'all.

EdwardHimself
Gr8. Salford uni has a good music practice space. Unlike MMU which doesn't have any music practice space but then again i suppose they wouldn't need one since there isn't much point in them offering degrees in music.
