mart
The prominent "Hardwire" link on this page: http://www.digitech.com/en-US would seem to confirm that they are part of Digitech.
fretmeister
Hardwire are the posh end of digitech. I have 2 of their guitar drive pedals and they are frankly BRILLIANT! Superbly built and they have little touches that have really been thought about - like a rubber control cover to stop you knocking the pots and keeping them clean; a glow in the dark sticker for stage use that you can also write settings on. I have the CM2 Tube Drive pedal and the Distortion. They won't be leaving my guitar pedal board anytime soon!
